Regulatory Development & Authority Support
Australia – Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA)
AACS has supported the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in both regulatory development and training delivery.
Regulatory Framework Development
- Development of the SMS regulatory framework for aerodromes under CASR Part 139
- Development of SMS regulatory frameworks for low and high capacity airline operations under CAO 82.3 and CAO 82.5

- Training of NCAA Inspectors in SMS implementation and assessment techniques
Industry Education & Safety Promotion

Development of comprehensive SMS guidance material for aviation operators (Flying Operations and Aerodromes), including:
- SMS booklets
- CD-ROM and Video/DVD training resources
- 32 structured guidance booklets with templates and worked examples for heavy vehicle operators (serving approximately 500,000 operators nationally)
National Seminar Programmes
- Delivery of a national series of SMS seminars for aviation and heavy vehicle transport operators

Air Traffic Services (ATS)
