Stephen Crocker - Managing Director. BAv Studies
Stephen is an ATPL holder with 25years of TRI/TRE experience. He also has significant management expertise having operated over 30 SEP and a ME cargo aircraft and corporate jets within Australia. He also setup an international heavy-lift aircraft operation around the Asia Pacific region.
With a wealth of operational and management experience, Stephen was able to provide accident investigation expertise to major Australian and international aviation insurance firms. Recently Stephen was involved in a number of projects with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in Australia that included both safety driven projects and the re-writing of Civil Aviation Regulations. Stephen was selected to attend as a member of the prestigious Australian Government Selective Consultative Committee.
Stephen was appointed as Chief Executive Officer for two of the major Australian aviation organisations. These were the Australian Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA) and the Australian Warbirds Association Limited (AWAL). Stephen revitalised both organisations and left them in 2013 both well structured, with renewed purpose, and financially stronger than when he took over.
Bachelor of Aviation Studies, University of Western Sydney, Associate Diploma in Applied Science (DEET), Pilots License: Australian Airline Transport Pilots License (ATPL), Multi-Engine, Command Instrument Rating. Grade One Instructor, with Multi-Engine and Instrument Training Approval, Training and Checking, on a number of corporate jets and military aircraft, Chief Flying Instructor and Chief Pilot Approval .

Margaret Llewellyn OBE - Senior Consultant
Margaret’s 30 year career in the transport sector has seen her own and operate a container shipping line, port terminals, road haulage fleet and Rail Fleet. For 9 years she was Deputy Chair of the Port of Dover and Chair of the Dover Harbour Board Pension Fund. She is a Director of SeaPort Development and has held a number of senior positions in shipping, transport and logistics. She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and former Welsh Woman of the Year.
Margaret was an active board member of both Cardiff and Jersey Airports for over 9 years. Margaret is currently Chair of the Network Rail Supervisory Board and was previously Chair of the Tourism Advisory Board for Wales and Vice Chair of the Welsh Development Agency. In 2004 she received an OBE for services to economic development in Wales. Margaret is currently a Board member for the Haven Waterway Enterprise Zone, and a Panel Member of the Williams Rail Review on behalf of the Department for Transport.
Andrew J K Edmondson - Senior Consultant
With over three decades of aviation experience, Andrew Edmondson has a broad, deep and unique understanding of the aviation industries. He has been a leader, manager and advisor across a number of organisations and involved in many restructurings and project management across aircraft Engineering, Operation both Air and Ground and more.
Before joining AASC ltd, Andrew was Director of Engineering the aviation Charity ‘Vulcan to the sky’. The Charity was the first to restore and operate the biggest and most complex return to flight project of an ex-military aircraft in private ownership. He led the company’s Engineering plan, risk management and the development a specialised safety management systems, QA and Health physics within this project. Earlier in his career, he served in the Royal Airforce within the field of Aircraft engineering. On demobilisation he joined the nuclear industry in a variety of roles from shift manger to site manager. Ian Dix - Senior Consultant
Ian has worked in aviation for over 30 years with the aviation regulatory authorities (Australia, New Zealand and UK), international airlines, air traffic management, airports and academia at world class Universities. He specialises in Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Human Factors. He has also been involved with the integration of SMS, Work Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Systems for organisations like QANTAS, Etihad Airways, Royal Australian Air Force and Boeing Defence.
